Seagate Beach Club takes its name from the Seagate neighborhood, a small waterfront community of 90 single-family homes located off Seagate Drive between Naples Cay and Crayton Road in Naples, Florida. The neighborhood is situated at the northern border of the City of Naples, abutting the Pelican Bay neighborhood of unincorporated Collier County, nestled between Park Shore and Pelican Bay. The community developed as an exclusive residential enclave featuring mature trees, lush landscaping, and canal homes with Gulf of Mexico access for smaller boats. The Seagate Beach Club Association was created to utilize and maintain the Beach Pavilion located on the Gulf of Mexico within Naples Cay for the benefit of its members. A separate Seagate Property Owners Association represents the community's interests to agencies of the City of Naples and Collier County. The beach club operates as a private amenity for the residents of this quiet Naples neighborhood, offering Gulf access and beachfront facilities that have become a defining feature of the Seagate community since its development.

The beach provides white sand and calm Gulf waters ideal for swimming, with the Beach Pavilion serving as a gathering place for Seagate residents and their guests. The private beach offers a more secluded experience compared to Naples' public beaches, with facilities maintained exclusively for the 90-home community. Residents enjoy sunbathing, beachcombing for shells, and observing Gulf Coast wildlife including dolphins, pelicans, and shorebirds. The west-facing beach location provides spectacular sunset viewing opportunities over the Gulf of Mexico. The canal system throughout the Seagate neighborhood provides boat access, allowing residents to launch smaller vessels and navigate to the Gulf for fishing and water recreation. The beach's proximity to the Park Shore and Pelican Bay areas places it near additional shopping and dining options while maintaining the quiet, exclusive character of the private community. The Beach Pavilion offers shade and amenities for beach gatherings and social events among residents.

Dining near Seagate Beach Club benefits from the area's location between Park Shore and Old Naples. The Dock at Crayton Cove provides waterfront dining with fresh grouper and stone crab claws overlooking the City Dock marina. USS Nemo serves pan-Asian fusion cuisine including miso-glazed sea bass and Thai lobster curry. Campiello offers Northern Italian dishes with house-made pasta and wood-fired pizzas in a garden setting. Sea Salt features Mediterranean-inspired seafood with octopus carpaccio and whole branzino. The Bay House serves farm-to-table cuisine with Gulf seafood and craft cocktails. Café Lurcat provides French-American fare including bouillabaisse and duck confit with views of downtown Naples' historic shopping district.
